ARRIVE
SAO PAULO, BRAZIL / MANAUS |

This morning
you arrive in Sao Paulo airport for your scheduled flight to
Manaus. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your
hotel (about 20 minutes).
This
afternoon you will be taken on a city tour of Manaus. The
highlight of the tour includes the famous Amazonas Theater
(the opera house). Enjoy dinner at an elegant restaurant in
the city. After dinner, you will be taken to your hotel for
overnight.

MANAUS /
THE AMAZON JUNGLE |

This morning
you will be transferred to the pier, where you will board a
50-minute boat ride to your lodge in the Amazon. Upon
arrival, you will be met and assisted to your rooms.
Visit the
Monkey jungle. Enjoy Amazonian cuisine for lunch. After
lunch, you will have the opportunity to visit an indigenous
home and will have time to fish. After dinner this evening,
you will be taken on a canoe tour for alligator spotting. You
will be taken back to your lodge for overnight.

THE
AMAZON JUNGLE / SALVADOR |
|
|
After a
Brazilian style breakfast, you will be taken on a jungle
(nature) hike. Today you check out from your jungle lodge
and transfer back to Manaus airport for your flight to
Salvador. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to
your hotel. A Casa Das Portas Velhas Hotel is located close
to the historical part of the city.

SALVADOR |

Today you
will be taken on an interesting visit to Praia do Forte (about
1 hour drive from the historical area of Salvador) through
Tamar Project. The Tamar project is an organization that
protects the sea turtles and passengers will have the
opportunity to see some of the project’s activities.
After
visiting the project, you will be taken to one of the kiosk by
the beach for a nice lunch. After lunch, you will have time
to relax at the vila gale mares spa satsanga, where you will
the opportunity for a romantic escape, special bath and
massage.
Dinner
tonight will be at a typical Bahian restaurant and if the
Olodum band is in town, you will make a stop at Pelourinho
area where the presentation is made.

SALVADOR / RIO DE JANEIRO |

Today you
will be taken on a visit to the historical part of Salvador.
Your visit will include a walking tour along some of the
churches of the historical area as well as the Pelourinho.
You will be taken back to your hotel before your flight to Rio
de Janeiro. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to
your hotel in Ipanema beach.

After
breakfast this morning, you depart for Cosme Velho district,
where you will take the cogwheel train through some part of
the Tijuca Forest to reach the Corcovado Mountain. Here you
will take escalators and visit the gigantic Christ the
Redeemer statue. After the visit you will take the train back
to Paineiras station, where the car will be waiting to take
you for sightseeing at Tijuca Forest. Here you will be able
to hike in the forest. After the visit proceed by the Alto da
Tijuca to reach the nice district of Barra da Tijuca, known
for its numerous condos, malls and nice beach. Proceed to
Barra Brasa Leblon barbecue restaurant where you will taste
the famous meat rodizio, a salad buffet served with assorted
kinds of salads, Brazilian cheese, cold cuts and hot dishes.
At the table assorted kinds of barbecued red meat are served,
as well as chicken and fish. Different kinds of garnishes also
are served at the table – French fries, white rice, cheese
pastry (pastéis), fried cassava, onion rings and the famous
Brazilian barbecue sauce – vinaigrette style sauce (onion,
tomato and green pepper). Desserts consist of
tropical fruit Salad with vanilla ice cream. After
lunch proceed to Red Beach district to take the cable car for
the visit to the Urca Hill and Sugar Loaf Mountain, for the
spectacular view of the city.

Your touring
today begins with a departure from hotel to visit the
historical downtown area of the city. En route stop to visit
the beautiful S. Bento Monastery. The interesting culture
Triangle at Cinelandia area begins at Rio Branco Avenue, where
they will see the Municipal Theatre, the National Library and
the Fine Arts Museum. Each one is in different corners. Then
proceed to the up hill district of Santa Teresa, a very
residential area with its houses, the tram and several
restaurants, a special stop will be made at Espírito Santa
restaurant where passengers will be hosted by the Chef Natacha
Fink for a Culinary class and then lunch- Amazonian cuisine
style. After lunch you return to hotel to relax.
All the
ground services are provided in a deluxe air-conditioned
executive care with a bilingual guide that will assist you
during the entire time. Included with lunch are beverages
such as mineral water, soft drinks, local beer and Brazilian
wine.
In the
evening you depart for a delicious dinner at Milano Doc
restaurant located at the beginning of Ipanema, which is about
15 min drive from the hotel. Enjoy a modern Italian cuisine.

Today you
will be driven to the northern area of Rio de Janeiro state to
visit the beautiful Arraial do Cabo, known for it’s beautiful
and nice beaches. Enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the nice
restaurants in Arrial do Cabo. Included with lunch are
mineral water, soft drinks and local beer. You will be driven
back to Rio where you will dine at the hotel’s restaurant
lobby area.

Today you
depart up the mountain to visit the Imperial city of
petropolis. Here, you will visit the cathedral and imperial
museum, stopping for lunch at the solar do imperador hotel
located at the historical center with it’s fine international
cuisine restaurant. After lunch, a carriage ride will take
you through some downtown area streets, stopping at the
crystal palace where the car is waiting to take you back to
Rio. Included with lunch are mineral water, soft drinks,
local beer and Brazilian wine. For your last evening in town,
you will be taken to the bohemian district of Lapa for dinner
and listen to some Brazilian band playing the real Brazilian
popular music (a chorinho or a samba band) presentation. You
will have the opportunity to dance and mingle with the locals
at the Rio Scenarium (mixture of bar, restaurant and show
place). The best days to visit the Lapa district and its
restaurants and bars are from Wednesday to Saturday. Sundays
and Mondays bars and restaurants are closed. Included with
dinner are mineral water, soft drinks, local beer and
Brazilian wine.

After a
Brazilian style breakfast, you will be transferred to the
airport for your scheduled flight to Iguassu. Upon arrival,
you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Today you
enjoy a walking tour of the Falls (Brazilian side). The
Brazilian side gives you the panoramic view.

This morning
you will be taken on a Macuco safari tour. Return to your
hotel for lunch. After lunch, you will be taken on a walking
tour of the Falls (Argentinean side). This tour gives you an
up-close and personal type of experience. Your tour includes
superior and devil’s throat.

will be transferred to the airport on the Brazilian side for
your flight to Guarulhos in Sao Paulo. Upon arrival, you will
