Welcome to Madagascar. Upon
arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Visit
the Zoological de Tsimbazaza known for its lemurs (including
an aye-aye) as well as a variety of indigenous birds, reptiles
and plants. You will have time for a brief city tour before
you are transferred to your hotel.

ANTANANARIVO / RANOMAFANA RESERVE |

This morning you and your
guide are driven to Ranomafana Nature Reserve. You will stop
at Ambositra for lunch.

RANOMAFANA RESERVE |
|
|
Today you have a full-day
visit of the reserve. Ranomafana is known for its hot springs
and rainforest, home to several endemic birds and up to 11
species of lemur, including the Golden Bamboo lemur.

RANOMAFANA RESERVE / ISALO NATIONAL PARK |

Drive to Ranohira via
Fianarantsoa and Ambalavao to visit the Antaimoro paper
workshop factory. Your hotel is actually located in Soarano
on the edge of Isalo National Park. Enjoy lunch at
Bougainvillees Restaurant.

Spend your full day trekking
to visit the canyons and Piscine Naturelle.

Enjoy the morning tour of the
park. This afternoon you will be transferred to Tulear.
Enjoy a city tour of Tulear, which has some fine Wild West
architecture.

TULEAR
/ FORT DAUPHIN / BERENTY PRIVATE RESERVE |

This morning you will be
transferred to Tulear airport for your flight to Fort
Dauphin. On arrival, you are met and transferred to Miramar
restaurant for lunch. Then you are driven to the Berenty
private reserve. Spend the rest of the afternoon touring
Berenty Reserve with your guide.

BERENTY PRIVATE RESERVE / FORT DAUPHIN |
|
|
Spend your full day visiting
the reserves botanical gardens and Antandroy museum. Here
you will see the ring-tailed lemur and gallery forest typical
of the dry south. Late this afternoon, you will be
transferred overland to Fort Dauphin where you overnight.

FORT
DAUPHIN / ANTANANARIVO/ PERINET RESERVE |

This morning you are
transferred to the Fort Dauphin airport to board the flight to
Antananarivo. On arrival, you are met and driven to Perinet
reserve with a visit on the way to Mr Peyrieras' insect and
reptile farm at Marozevo. At Perinet Rainforest Reserve,
you'll find the indri indri, largest surviving lemur, along
with several other endemic lemurs, chameleons and birds. You
will have the opportunity to have a nocturnal visit to the
reserve.

Tour the reserves of Mantadia
and Analamazaotra (Perinet) today. Late this afternoon, drive
back to Antananarivo.
