Today you
board your scheduled flight to Zanzibar - an exotic island off
the coast of Tanzania also known as the isle of spices. Upon
arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in
Stone Town. Balance of your day is at leisure.

Accompanied
with your guide, enjoy a full day tour of Zanzibar. The
highlights will be the city tour & the spice island tour.
This
morning, you will visit the spice island, where you will have
the opportunity to visit some of the historical sites around
the island also some ruins. Your tour will also include
visits to various spice and fruit plantations around the
island.
After lunch
in town, you will be taken on a city tour.
During your
city tour, you will explore Zanzibar’s old stone town, which
is a fascinating labyrinth of narrow, winding streets line
with quaint little shops, bazaars, mosques, courtyards and
squares, former colonial mansions and whitewashed, coral-rag
houses. Your tour will include Beit-el-Ajaib, or house of
wonders, which is one of the most prominent buildings to
visit, which was formerly the sultan’s palace. Visit the old
slave market and the old Hamamni Persian Baths. You will have
a chance to visit the National Museum to learn about the
history of the island. Later, you will be transferred to your
hotel for dinner and overnight.
