Your
adventure begins today when you board your international
flight to Europe.

Today you
arrive in Europe and connect to your flight bound for
Kilimanjaro international airport in Arusha, Tanzania. Upon
arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

ARUSHA
/ NARE MORU / SIMBA CAMP |
|
|
Today you
will be driven to Nare Moru Village (6,500 feet), where you
begin your hike. Your trek will take you though pine forest
and cultivated land to Simba Camp, where you will spend the
night.

CAMP / KIKELWA CAMP |
|
|
Today you
hike via the second camp to Kikelwa camp. Your trek will take
you through the impressive views of Kibo and eastern ice
fields on the rim of the crater.

KIKELWA CAMP / MAWENZI TARN |
|
|
Today you
hike to Mawenzi tarn. Spend the afternoon exploring the
Mawenzi Tarn, where you will spend the night.

MAWENZI TARN / KIBO CAMP |
|
|
Today you
hike to the bottom of Kibo Crater to reach Kibo Campsite.
Spend your day acclimatizing, as you prepare for the final
ascent.

KIBO
CAMP / SUMMIT / HOROMBO |
|
|
Today you
get up very early to start the final ascent to the summit.
Descend to Kibo hut and on to Horombo Hut (12,000 feet), where
you will spend the night.

HOROMBO / ARUSHA / DEPART |
|
|
Descend to
Marangu gate, where your vehicle will be awaiting. You will
be transferred to Arusha, where dayrooms have been reserved to
your comfort and convenience. Later, you will be transferred
to the airport for your departure flight.
