
Tanzania is a small country located in East Africa. It is home to Africa’s highest mountain, mount Kilimanjaro; one of world’s largest game reserves, the Selous; the world’s largest un-flooded intact volcanic caldera, Ngorongoro crater and the most famous wildlife park, the Serengeti.
Dr. Mary Leakey discovered the remains of an early man, estimated to be 3.5 million years old, at Olduvai Gorge in Tanzania. Zanzibar, which was once the center for slave trade, is located in Tanzania. Today, people go to Zanzibar for the cultural and historical experiences as well as beaches.
